DETECTA F2

DETECTA F2: Research on non-intrusive methodologies supported by 4.0 enabling technologies to address predictive and cyber-secure maintenance in industrial SMEs and interactions in their value chain.

DETECTA Phase 2 adopts advanced technologies to improve preventive detection and offer practical solutions. It focuses on implementing more powerful sensors, expanding data collection, developing more complex digital twins, and using advanced analytics. In addition, advanced algorithms are developed and anomaly detection systems are integrated into the IT/OT infrastructure to protect industrial processes. This phase allows DETECTA to address complex challenges and adapt solutions to the real needs of industrial environments, with feedback from the industry.

Phase 1 of the DETECTA project focused on researching and developing non-intrusive methodologies to characterize processes and detect anomalies, with the objective of improving the availability and protection of industrial systems. Two conceptual approaches were combined at the laboratory level (TRL3/TRL4): the productivity of predictive maintenance and the management of risks associated with emerging threats in connected infrastructures.

In view of the achievements of Phase 1, DETECTA is moving on to Phase 2, to deepen and expand the progress achieved. This new stage involves taking the technologies and approaches developed to real industrial environments at the prototype level under controlled laboratory conditions for validation and improvement.

Phase 2 of the DETECTA project is distinguished by the adoption of more advanced technologies and approaches to enhance preventive detection and offer practical solutions. During this phase, emphasis will be placed on implementing more powerful sensors, expanding data collection, developing more complex digital twins, and utilizing advanced analytics.

During Phase 2, the consortium will focus on developing advanced algorithms to address real industrial challenges, as well as integrating anomaly detection systems into IT/OT infrastructure to protect industrial processes against cyber-attacks and supply chain vulnerabilities.

The transition to Phase 2 will allow DETECTA to address more complex practical challenges and obtain valuable feedback from industry, ensuring that the proposed solutions are effective and adapted to the real needs of industrial environments.

The Detecta F2 project is funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism through the 2023 call for proposals under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan to support Innovative Business Clusters.
