Between June and September 2026, Funditec has welcomed 13 new people through the Young Researchers Programme, an initiative that continues to demonstrate its capacity to attract and retain qualified talent within the organisation.
This latest period adds to a track record that, since the programme’s launch in 2024, reflects particularly strong results. In total, 25 people have joined Funditec through this programme between 2024 and 2026, establishing it as one of the organisation’s main channels for bringing in new talent.
One of the most significant figures from this balance is the conversion rate to permanent contracts: of the 12 people who joined during the programme’s first period (2024–2025), 11 remain part of the team on permanent contracts, representing 91.7%. This figure confirms that the programme not only facilitates access to employment, but fosters a stable and lasting relationship between those who join and the organisation’s projects.
This balance is complemented, in 2026, by a particularly meaningful milestone: the return of someone who had previously participated in the programme in 2024. This comeback reinforces the reading that the Young Researchers Programme functions not only as a gateway to the labour market, but as a space where talent finds reasons to stay — and, in some cases, to come back.
Taken together, these results position the Young Researchers Programme as a key instrument within Funditec’s talent attraction and retention strategy, and reflect the organisation’s commitment to creating quality employment opportunities linked to research and technological innovation.
