Senior Data AI Engineer
Description:
Funditec Intelligence is Funditec’s unit specializing in Applied Artificial Intelligence. This unit drives the development of AI-based solutions to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and accelerate innovation in key sectors through high-impact R&D projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced AI solutions applied to strategic projects in cybersecurity, digital transformation, process optimization and automation, and predictive analytics.
- Coordinate the development of complex predictive models and participate in defining AI system architectures.
- Oversee validation and proof-of-concept activities, and rigorously document the solutions.
- Provide technical mentoring, ensuring the quality of implementations and promoting best practices in innovation.
- Define the ML/MLOps architecture and observability systems (service monitoring, data/model drift, and business metrics).
- Drive prescriptive analytics/optimization and geointelligence where applicable.
Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Python (primarily) and R.
- Proven experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and scikit-learn (experience with XGBoost/LightGBM is a plus).
- Knowledge of deep neural networks, anomaly detection, advanced clustering, classification, regression, and time series analysis.
- Experience with Big Data/Cloud, data engineering, and MLOps.
- Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD, and programming best practices.
- Ability to provide technical leadership in multidisciplinary environments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity is a plus.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience developing AI solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience in technology transformation, automation, or advanced analytics projects; experience taking PoCs to production with monitoring is desirable.
